Fotograf Srdjan Živulović je letos kot del ekipe agencije Reuters, ki je dokumentirala evropsko begunsko krizo, postal prvi Slovenec, ki je prejel prestižno Pulitzerjevo nagrado. Več let je delal v časopisni hiši Delo, leta 1992 je ustanovil fotografsko agencijo Bobo, vse od slovenske osamosvojitvene vojne pa sodeluje tudi z agencijo Reuters. Leta 1989 je prejel priznanje takratne jugoslovanske agencije Tanjug za fotografijo »Boj žensk za delavski kruh«, posneto v Makedoniji.

 

Photographer Srdjan Živulović is the first Slovene to win the Pulitzer prize for achievements in photography. He was awarded together with a team of Reuters photographers. For many years he worked for the Slovenian newspaper Delo. In 1992 he founded a photo agency called Bobo. He is also collaborating with the press agency Reuters since the independence of Slovenia. In 1989 a Yugoslav agency Tajfung gave him a recognition award for a photo called »Boj žensk za delavski kruh«, shot in Macedonia.
